Employee turnover rate


Q: How do I calculate an employee turnover rate?  
       
A:

The Department of Labor (DOL) suggests the following formula to determine the employee turnover rate: Divide the number of separations during the month by the total number of employees at mid-month. Multiply this number by 100.
