Q: What provisions are there for me to appeal the findings of an OSHA inspection?

A:

OSHA issues a citation to employers who are found in violation of the OSH Act. Employers have 15 days to contest OSHA citations. Employers may contest by filing a Notice of Intent to Contest. Employers also have the option to request an informal conference however, the Notice of Intent to Contest still must be received by OSHA within 15 days of the citation or the citation becomes final order which is not subject to review by any court or agency.
