OSHA issues a citation to employers who are found
in violation of the OSH Act. Employers have 15 days
to contest OSHA citations. Employers may contest by
filing a Notice of Intent to Contest. Employers also
have the option to request an informal conference however,
the Notice of Intent to Contest still must be received
by OSHA within 15 days of the citation or the citation
becomes final order which is not subject to review
by any court or agency.
