A slotting job evaluation system utilizes an existing ranking of jobs. New or revised jobs are evaluated by assessing them in relationship to other jobs within the existing job hierarchy. If a job grade or class already exists, jobs are placed within a grade or class based on the jobs already placed in that grade/class.
